I think the biggest way we save money this day and age is to plan our menus. Include lots of beans, rice, other cheap foods. Go easy on the meat. It really adds up.

The best way for me to save money is to stay home more and try to plan my shopping trips to last the longest possible. The less I am in the store the better ;-)
Menu planning helps too, knowing what I have in the house makes preparing meals much easier and effective!

Ways we save money are by mixing in a lot of fillers with our meat, getting our meat in bulk from a farmer, growing our own food, and making what we can.

We save money by getting what's on sale whether it's store brand or name brand. I save all clothes from the oldest to use for the younger two since we have all girls.
