My big boy!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH! My baby boy is 5 months old! He had to go get his 4 month shots today cause at 2 months he had RSV so that made him behind on his shots one month. So far so good . Last time he ran a high fever so hopefully he will not this time. He weighed 16 pounds 3 ounces. :) She said he looked very happy and healthy. He is doing all he is suppose to be doing and she said it was good I was already feeding him solids so yah me! He has been sleeping alot since we have been back.
I also went and got my youngest daughter's glasses today. Her others broke of course. I really hope things start changing with her eyes or I think in the near future she is going to have to have surgery. Something I am not looking forward to at all. She has wore glasses since she was 6 months old!
Tonight is the last night of VBS. Sort of glad cause it has been hard going back and forth every night. But the kids have had a blast and we ended up letting Dustin go every night cause that is where we thought he should be. He and daddy have done alot of talking and such. Dustin has been a bit better,
I have not felt well at all this week, I hope next week or sometime soon I feel alot better. I am so tired and just feel blah. Anyway, that is enough for today, I have to get ready and get change levi and take the kids to church,

Ramblings by me!

I have so much to be thankful for. A wonderful husband, 5 beautiful kids,somewhere to live, great parents, etc... I am so thankful I have a husband who loves me and would never lay a hand on me. Recent events in the news about the pregnant woman being found dead has brought up old wounds for me! I will not get too deep into it but I really feel for these women who feel so lost that they have to be with men that are not nice to them. MEn that abuse, neglect, disrespect, women in a way God never intended and how they bring the innocent children along for the ride. Just so sad. If you know someone who is going through this please just do not sit by and let this happen, talk to the proper people. Yes, it may make you friend, sister, daughter,etc.. mad but in the long run it could be what saves her. Yes in some circumstances no violence or ugliness has happened. I understand this . But for the ones and you know who you are don't just let it happen. And to the woman going through this do not think God has forgotten you, do not feel alone in this. He is with you and is your strength. If you are doing all you can possibly do to have a blessed and godly marriage then it is time for you to go to the proper people and get out of that! God does not intend for you to be treated this way! Nobody should be treated this way. I do not know why I feel lead to write about this, Maybe it is because I am so tired right now and things like the recent murder of that girl and her innocent baby daughter make me so sad. Maybe because I know that is could of been me. I don't know. I am just thankful for where I am today.

My next rambling is gonna be about my son that I have talked about before. He is having a awful time. I am looking into maybe taking some things out of his diet but I don't know, If you know of any good sites about this please pass them on. They got him on stronger meds not but it only seems to be making things worse. When I picked the kids up from VBS tonight his teacher said he was VERY disrespectful tonight and just very bad! I just wanted to cry. And I hate to bother his dad with it cause he works so much. I am just not sure what to do with him anymore. Makes me feel like I am failing him. REally sad about that. I love him so much and I hate when he talks like he has tonight . My children mean the world to me and as many of you mothers know it is very hard when you do not know what to do for one of your children.

Well that is about all the blogging I have in me tonight, I am not feeling too good tonight. I still went walking tonight though so I am gonna give myself a pat on the back for that. I walk everyday , I hope soon I see some weight loss. After this last child it is has been the hardest to lose weight.

Happy First Day of Summer!!!!!!!!!

The first day of summer. When I was a child I was always excited about summer. I loved to swim and play outside. Now watching my kids during the summer it brings it all back. Summer is a wonderful time of year in my opinion. Families seem to get together more for cook outs and such. Families go on vacations. I think it summer is for families, how awsome is that. Busy busy and proud of it

Although I have been pretty busy lately I am glad that I am. I know many of you are saying what??? YOu are glad to be busy. I was thinking about this the other day when a woman saw me with my 5 kids and said boy you sure are a busy woman and I usually just give a fake laugh and say yeah but this time I said better to be busy then be lazy. Dunno where that came from or why that came out of my mouth. She just stood there sort of dumbfounded . But that is the truth. I rather have a ton of things going on and be getting them done than be doing nothing. Today was a pretty busy day as well , had to take my oldest daughter to the day camp at the YMCA, this week she has that going on. Then my youngest has a appt with a eye doctor. It is okay though.Like I said much rather be busy especially doing things for my children. then tonight I cooked a big breakfast for supper and we all sat at the table together and ate . Lately we have been eating at different times cause the boys are playing with their friends and hubby has been working alot. I made sure I timed it right so we could all eat together. If you do not know my husband he LOVES Ryan's steakhouse. WEll after our supper he said that was better than anything and one our sons said better than Ryan's and my wonderful hubby said yes BETter than Ryan;s . I was like wow!!!! What a complement. I love my hubby, my kids and my life. While I do get stressed out sometimes and frustrated I do have a awsome life. Thank God!
On another note please pray for my aunt! She had to have surgery cause she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He went in to get it all and was not sure he did so now in a few weeks she will have to drink some chemo type stuff or something. Pray that this works,pray that she becomes well, pray none of this makes her sick! Thanks a million

Busy weekend!

WEll we had a busy weekend . Friday night after hubby got him the kids and I took him out to eat at his fave restuarant, Ryan's. Then we just rode around for a bit and came home. Saturday he worked on some side work he is doing then Saturday night we went to my sister's house for my nephew's birthday party. He turned 5 this weekend!! My where does the time go. That night my sister also gave me a early birthday present. A book I have been wanting called,Created to be his Help Meet by Debi Pearl. This book is awsome and I came home and started reading it Saturday night. I am already starting chapter 10! LOL Anyone who is having trouble in their marriag,just getting married,been married for years, well ANY woman needs to read this book!! Okay so Sunday I woke up and was feeling bad as I haven't felt too good for a week so I did not go to church. My parents came and picked up the 3 kids that wanted to go to church. At about 12:30 my hubby,me,the baby and the son who did not go to church went to my mom;s for father's day. WE ate and swam in their pool. Then we came home and I cleaned and just relaxed. Hubby and I talked about the book I was reading some and some other things. Here we are already Monday. I have got to get off here so I can get ready to take my oldest daughter to the YMCA for a day camp she is going to this week. Then the other kids and I have to go to town. UGH! Tommorrow I have to take my youngest daughter to the eye doctor for a check up, I think her glasses need to be changed. She is 4 and wearing a bifocal, she has wore glasses since she was 5 months old. So I guess I am gonna have a busy week also but that is okay.

A day in the life of me!!

I thought I would do this , also to keep myself focused on what I need to be doing lol. It is 10:01 right now and so far this is what I have gotten acomplished.

-Woke up at 5:50 and fixed hubby's breakfast and brought it to him.
- Laid back down but baby got up and so I put him in the bed with me and we slept(well woke up to kiss hubby by at 6:30)
- Slept till around 7:00 when Levi got up
- Got up and put him in his bouncer and ate breakfast.
- Put in a load of clothes
- Call doctor's office to tell them I would bring Dustin tommorrow for his blood work
- Checked emails and blogs and so forth
-Fed Levi his baby cereal
-Gave Levi a bath
-Played with Levi a bit
-Straightened the house a little
-Other kids woke up and got breakfast
-I cut up some watermelon and cantelope for snacks and made some sugar free jello. While this does take longer than just letting them snack on packaged food this is better for them.
- took clothes out of washer and put in dryer.
- Fix levi's bottle and got him to sleep.

So far that is it, next I am gonna go make my bed which I usually have already done.
I will add to this throughout the day.



Okay now it is 11:15 here is what else I have acomplished! :)
-Washed Levi's frog quilt and hung it out
-Washed sink of dishes(since our dish washer does not do a good job) and the boys dryed and put them up
-Put in a load of red clothes to wash and cleaned out the lint vent on the dryer.
-MAde bed
-took vitamin
-Changed LEvi's diaper and played with him a bit
-Straightened up living room
-Added some blinkies to my blog

So that is it, getting there today hehe. NOw I have to make lunch and continue on through my day


Okay so it is now 1:09 here is what else i have acomplished
-Listed some clothes on a site to sale
-made lunch(chicken noodle soup and crackers) :)
-washed lunch dishes
-folded load of clothes, put load from washer to dryer and put in another load to wash
-fed and changed LEvi
-got some kisses from my boy so he will just giggle
-put Brittani down for nap (she has been pretty good today ) :)
-helped the kids a little with cleaning out the refrigerator
-redirected a few on good manners
-cleaned bath tub
-talked to hubby on the phone
mmmm,think that is about it. Next hoping to get some Taebo in .

-No Taebo yet :(
-Talked to hubby again
-Washed another Load of clothes and folded another load
-Cleaned a really bad uh oh oh my sons knee :( He got really hurt trying to do tricks on the scooter out on the road. Looks really nasty(my mom is coming by to take a look at it cause i think you can see the bone) :(
-Listed some more clothes to try and sale
-Fed Levi AGAIN And changed a AWFUL diaper. EWWWWWWWWWW
-had some "me" computer time
-washed bottles
- talked with the kiddos, boy they always have all kinds of stuff to tell me. They will play outside for a bit then come in and tell me what all they have been doing and stuff they just remember lol.
-Brittani is STILL napping :)

WEll that is probably all I will post today. Got to figure out what we are having for supper. I will cook supper and there is a tote of baby clothes I want to go through to see what Levi can wear now. Other than that not much planned for the afternoon! This was a pretty easy day cause we plan to do school still some this summer but I am waiting for some books I ordered.

EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

After being soooooooooooooooo tired last night I was awaken at around 2 am to a voice saying mama I threw up. My poor Dustin threw up in the floor, I know TMI. I wished I had a dollar for the times I have had to wake up during the night and clean up throw up. Soooooooooo, not fun,. So needless to say our washing machine was running at 2 this morning. Then of course Levi was up at 4 and didn't want anythign to do with his crib soooooooooo he was int he bed with us which means i am not getting any sleep. then he wanted to be up at 6 for good . Needless tosay I am fixing to go and lay back down cause he has just fallen asleep again.
