Hey everyone

I just made this long post and then something happened to my computer , ugh!!!! Oh well just wanted to check in with everyone. I have been so busy that I haven't blogged in a while and when I am not busy I am just too tired lol. Everyone is doing good here, baby boy is getting so big!!!!!! He is 8 months old already, I cannot believe how fast time flies. Trying to take it all in as much as I can. He is into everything though lol. Hubby's business is still going good , please keep praying he stays busy. My sister and bil and us have started doing a bible study every Saturday and it has meant so much to my hubby and I! WE are thinking about home churching and have thought about it for a while and this is a step sort of in that direction. WE are hoping to add some more people to our bible study but so far nobody else has joined us. IT has been nice getting closer to God with my family , kwim? So God is so good and has done so much in my life. I have come along way from what I used to be and I just want to do the Lord's will and raise my kids to know the Lord and love him. To be respectful and loving and moral. It is as simple as that, They do not have to be doctors or lawyers or anything like that,. Also in other news we have added to our family. Yesterday we got a new addition to our family. His name is Tanner and he is a cocker spaniel. Here he is.

WEll that is about it for now, gotta go finish cleaning the bathrooms, fun times huh???

A much needed vacation

We just got back from the beach last Thursday, It was a much needed vacation for us. This was the first time any of our kids had seen the beach/ocean so that was neat. We ended us staying two extra days lol. We had a great time with the kids and my parents were also there, It was a great family time. But now we are back to reality. WE took thekids to the Aquarium and some other places, They went to Build a Bear also. WE have never had a family vacation like this, we usually just go a couple of days and that is it so it was nice and very refreshing. And it was really nice since we homeschool we can go when we want so now most of the kids are in school and such so it was not crowded and rowdy. But like I say back to reality with bills and homeschooling ,etc... OF course we are constantly homeschooling cause everything in life is a learning experience. We also took them to a nearby beach/park that had a learning center so between that and the aquairum they got alot of learning time in anyway. On the way there we wrote down all the states we saw on tags, we found 20 something states, cool huh. Well just wanted to update you alland let ya know I have not fallen off the face of the earth. Kids are I are doing well and hubby's business is going well. Baby boy is a getting so big!!!! He is 7 months old!!!!! I cannot believe it. Time goes by so fast, he had a blast at the beach too and is also having trouble adjusting back to our daily life. WEll that is it for now. Let me know of any great homeschooling sites if you know of any. I am updating my list and stuff so let me know. Thanks

Loving the Lord

WEll I know I have not written in a while but I just stay so busy! I just wanted to blog right quick before the kids,hubby and I sit down and watch Facing the Giants. The kids and I have already saw it but hubby has not. Anyhow , these days I am focusing on loving the Lord . Yes that plain and simple. My wonderful husband and i know the Lord and want our kids brought up right but are trying to know more about him and understand his word.We have been having Bible study with my siter and bil and are hoping to get more people here involved in the future. There are so many lost and hurting people out there, Also our church just added a new sunday school class geared more towards our generation so we went this morning and it was awsome. Our Sunday service was pretty good as well so how awsome is that! I so hope my kids grow up loving and knowing the Lord! God is good!
We are leaving next Saturday for the beach-yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! cannot wait to see the kids see the beach for the first time. Hubby;s business has gotten off to a good start but just keep us in your prayers that it will keep doing very well, we have really struggled since we have been married. I hope to add more later but right now i have to go, I have a 7 month old that needs to go to sleep. Man, where did the time go! Cannot believe he is 7 months already

Been so busy!!!!

Well it has been a long time since I have posted on my blog. I have been so busy!! NO time to blog, really I wonder if I have time to really think. But anyway last Friday my van left me stranded and of course I had the girls and baby boy with me and of course it was the hottest day of the year and of course hubby's cell phone would not pick up where he was working out. My sweet mom did get off work and come get us. That ended up costing us $268 we were not planning to spend and not needing to spend. WE started back homeschool full swing . Cannot wait to see what we learn this year that was unexpected. My husband started his own business and is doing pretty well with that, please pray we continue to do well and he gets more jobs. I really need to find a couple of kids to babysit but nothing has come up yet. We have started a bible study with my sister and bil and my husband and I are very excited. I have so much that I need to get done but never seem to get it done. /MAybe one day, I am having a hard time doing this blog cause I have a 6 month old in my lap right now trying to eat the keyboard.He has already pushed a button and lost what i typed the first time. My oldest dd got braces, The baby is having to take breathing treatments daily for a month till we go back to the allergist. Just busy busy all the time . I have a little one now asking can I have some animal crackers, can I have some animal crackers lol. I think we are going swimming tonight in my parents pool and tommorrow I think we are takign the kids to ride some horses and go fishing and tommorrow night is our bible study. HOpefully I will get in here to blog a little more, just not enough hours in the day.

What do you want people to remember about you?

I am just sitting here thinking-yes I know that is dangerous lol. But I was just sitting here thinking about all the trials we go through in life and what is important to people these days, IT seems so far from what I really want out of life. All I really want is to be able to pay our bills, take the kids to a vacation now and again and just be happy and content and raise our children to the best of our ability. I do not want all this wordly stuff, do not get me wrong I like shiny things and big things but when I am gone that STUFF will not matter to me and when I am dead and gone what do I really want people to remember about me. Alot of times these days many people want to be remembered as being successful or owning all these THINGS. All I really want when I am gone is to be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother. That i did my best and raised my kids to the best of my abilities. That I love the LOrd and tried to follow him. I have stumbled alot following him but I do try. What would YOU want people to remember about you??? IT is sad that this day and age many people miss out on the joys of parenthood all because they are so selfish that they think children will hinder them. They really miss out on the blessings. Yes, sometimes I do say or think wow what my husband and I could do if we didn't have kids or if we did not have so many but wow what we would miss out on!!!!!!!!!!! GOd gave me these kids, dunno why he chose me but I am so glad he did. Yes times do get hard and sometimes I get weary but I would not change my life for one split second. GOd has blessed me with so much even though my family has little we have all we need. I do not know what the Lord has in store for me in the future,weather it be more kids(if that is the case he better be talking to hubby lol) or just to raise the kids we have to his glory. I just always want to be able to stand back and see just how trully blessed I am. I have a WONDERFUL husband who has done so much for me, more than many people know. He is my rock, my prince charming. I have 5 wonderful blessings!!!! What more could a woman ask for???

Been a little while since I posted

Fist I wanted to share this I found at another blog that i love to read, It had me in tears.

A Poem for the busy Mother

SONG FOR A FIFTH CHILD

Mother, O mother, come shake out your cloth!
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up the bed
.........Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
.........She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking!

Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue
..........(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
..........(Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo
But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?
..........Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.)

Oh, cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
But children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby. Babies don't keep.

~~~~Ruth Hulburt Hamilton
That really hit home for me cause I just feel life is passing by so quickly and I am missing so much, the kids are growing up so fast. WE are just so busy these days. I long for a simplier time. I hope that happens soon or I may bust lol. Things are going okay here, Our baby boy has his first two that has finally made it's way through . He will be going to see the allergist soon to see if he has asthma., He is still spitting/throwing up terribly! All the other kiddos are doing good. Our youngest daughter was sick and still has a cough but is better. Our twin sons are just boys, they have been working with daddy during the day at his own business so they love that. He bought them some boots and is paying them so they are really happy about that. Our two girls went to cheerleading camp this past saturday and loved it, they will be cheering with the cheerleaders at one of the games in august. So that is pretty cool. WE are slowly starting back doing some school. I just sometimes wonder if they are learning all they need to be learning. Well I am tired and I still have the babies laundry to do so I am off. Talk to you all later
